Brew Origins is a Melbourne-based coffee bean supplier passionate about sustainability, traceability, and premium quality. Specializing in ethically sourced, single-origin beans from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Papua New Guinea, they serve both retail customers and boutique cafes across Australia. Prior to engaging in digital marketing services, Brew Origins relied heavily on word-of-mouth and local B2B relationships.
Objectives
As a digital-only business, Brew Origins aimed to create a trustworthy and premium online presence, increase brand awareness, boost e-commerce sales, and establish a lasting connection with customers through strategic content and marketing initiatives.
The Approach
We began by refreshing Brew Origins’ brand identity to reflect its values of quality, sustainability, and authenticity. A clean, modern logo was paired with a warm, earthy color palette and minimalist design elements that resonated with their target audience. The packaging and visual language were crafted to evoke a handcrafted, artisanal feel, aligning with their story of origin and care.


Next, we redesigned their e-commerce website with a strong focus on user experience. The new site featured a responsive layout, detailed product pages with tasting notes and brewing instructions, and an interactive “Find Your Brew” quiz that helped customers discover beans tailored to their preferences. A seamless subscription option was also integrated to encourage recurring orders and increase lifetime customer value.
Since Brew Origins depends entirely on digital channels for growth, search engine optimization was a core focus. We conducted extensive keyword research (with Mangools) and optimized the website, blog posts, and product descriptions for terms like “fresh roasted beans Australia” and “buy single origin coffee online.” To support SEO and engage customers, we developed a weekly content strategy that included brewing tutorials, behind-the-scenes roasting features, and educational pieces about coffee sourcing and flavor profiles.

Our social media strategy focused on storytelling and community building. We developed content for Instagram and TikTok that included customer testimonials, brewing tips, and behind-the-scenes videos of roasting and packaging. To nurture customer relationships, we implemented a fully automated email marketing funnel using Mail Chimp. The welcome series introduced new subscribers to Brew Origins’ mission and offered a first-purchase discount.
